This wonderful collection features 25 of the bandsâ In Session recordings made for the BBC at Maida Vale studios during the promotional tours for some their chart topping albums, where the âunder-the-gunâ pressure of having to re-record songs in single takes creates fantastic alternate versions of some of their biggest and best tracks; a stunning, stripped down 'Say What You Want', a fabulous early take on 'Black Eyed Boy' and a cover of The Beatlesâ 'Iâve Got A Feeling' which was only ever recorded for the BBC alongside âIn Sessionâ versions of tracks such as 'Tired Of Being Alone', 'Halo', 'In Our Lifetime' and 'Carnival Girl'. Itâs a wonderful companion to their Greatest Hits. Universal.
